Eat the Food You Buy — Pre-order Competition
Short and straight, no nonsense. By entering, you agree to these terms.
1. The promoter
The promoter is Lagom Fit Ltd, Studio 4, 224 Shoreditch High Street, London, England, E1 6PJ. Contact: martyn@lagomchef.com.
2. Who can enter
- Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
- Not open to the promoter, anyone professionally connected with the competition, or their immediate families.
- The promoter may ask for proof of age, identity and UK residence before awarding any prize.
3. How to enter
Standard entry (with pre-order):
- Pre-order Eat the Food You Buy from any retailer on or before the closing date, then upload a clear photo, screenshot or PDF of your pre-order receipt or order confirmation through this entry form.
- Your proof of purchase must clearly show a pre-order of Eat the Food You Buy and be dated on or before the closing date.
- One entry per valid pre-order receipt. Unreadable, altered or duplicate receipts won't be counted.
Free entry (no pre-order needed):
- You can also enter for free, without buying anything. Send your full name and email address either by post to Lagom Fit Ltd, Studio 4, 224 Shoreditch High Street, London, England, E1 6PJ, or by email to martyn@lagomchef.com with "BOOK COMP" in the subject line, to arrive on or before the closing date.
- Free entries go into the same draw and have exactly the same chance of winning as standard entries. One free entry per person.
Both routes:
- Entries must be made through the form or the free-entry methods above only. Bulk, automated or third-party entries won't be accepted.
- Aside from the cost of pre-ordering the book (standard entry only) and any data charges you'd pay anyway, entering is free.
4. Closing date
The competition closes at 23:59 (UK time) on 16 July 2026 — launch day. Entries received after that won't be entered.
5. How the winner is chosen
- A winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received by the closing date.
- The promoter may hold one or more draws, on dates of its choosing, with a winner drawn at random each time. Draw dates will be announced by the promoter.
6. Telling the winner
- The winner will be contacted by email at the address on their entry, normally within 14 days of the relevant draw.
- If a winner can't be reached or doesn't reply within 14 days, or doesn't meet the eligibility terms, the promoter may draw another winner at random.
7. The prize
- The prize is a selection of prizes; Gozney Tread, 3 x Clement Knives, Tb Stoneware full crockery set (4 plates, 4 pasta bowls, 4 small plates and 4 bowls) TM7 Thermomix and many more being added
- There's no cash alternative and the prize isn't transferable. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the promoter's control, the promoter may substitute one of equal or greater value.
- Any cost not expressly stated as included is the winner's responsibility.
8. Your information
Lagom Fit Ltd collects your name, email, social handle (if you give one) and your receipt solely to run the competition and contact the winner. We won't sell your details or use them for marketing without your separate consent. Entries are kept until the competition and any draws are complete, then deleted within 90 days. You can ask us to delete your entry, or for details of how we handle your data, at any time at martyn@lagomchef.com.
9. General
- The promoter's decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the competition if events outside its reasonable control make that necessary.
- By entering, the winner agrees the promoter may publish their first name and town (or social handle) when announcing the result.
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok or any retailer.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
